The Ibn Sina Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, have organized a training course entitled “How to avoid plagiarism?” in the presence of a number of researchers, graduate students and those interested in the subject. The course aimed to develop and improve the skills of researchers by providing trainees with basic skills and tips on rewriting texts in order to identify the basic principles and concepts of learned theft, with the aim of providing trainees with basic skills and tips on detecting plagiarism and rewriting texts.

This training course was presented by Assist. Prof. Dr. Sherine Rasool Jawad, Dr. Muhammad Alaa and the lecturer Dina Sultan, who shed light on scientific theft, often called plagiarism which is the use of the ideas of others without referring to them and that it can take many forms, ranging from the cases that can be easily discovered by copying words in a fraud representation of another person’s language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions as one’s own original work.
