The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Women, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held its scientific workshop on “Crisis Management”, which was attended by elite professors and students and where the Assist. Prof. Dr. Zainab Naji and the lecturer Samah Hamza gave lecture.
The workshop included identifying the concept of crisis as an unusual situation or an unintended situation for which the individual may be long or short depending on the nature of the crisis and individuals differ in facing it according to the difference in individual differences between them, and the crisis is taken from the term crisis and the crisis causes an imbalance in the psychological balance of the individual and the crisis leads to unexpected results for the individual or society and the stages of the crisis (shock stage, confrontation and reaction stage, treatment stage).
The workshop also dealt with the causes of crises, which can be genetically transmitted from parents or grandparents to children through genes via chromosomes, which work to make the individual that any situation he/she is going through is a crisis that he may or cannot face and an environment related to the individual’s external environment – internal that the individual or a group of individuals is exposed to while working within the same country at the political level.
