Prof. Dr. Alaa Karim Mohammed, the lecturer Esraa Mzahim Rashid and the lecturer Yasmine Saleh from the Department of Biochemical Engineering at Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering, participated in the innovation exhibition sponsored by the Industrial Research and Development Authority at the Ministry of Industry and Minerals. Their participation included three patents on the (Production of rayon from date palm fronds) (The use of partially finished zyme from bacteria in the production of local kit to estimate the concentration of urea in the blood) and (Rapid family reaction without the use of a catalyst for cooking oil consumed for the production of biodiesel). At the end of this event, certificates of appreciation as well as golden and silver medals were distributed to the participants for submitting their scientific research papers and patents.
