Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, the rector of the University of Baghdad, has visited recently the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women to inspect the workflow there and was received by the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih. At first the rector has inaugurated a Sports Hall after being rehabilitated, and a Sport & Exercise Physiology Laboratory for Postgraduate Students, to conduct practical tests and anatomy and physiology lessons, as well as he inaugurated the college’s museum which included pictures of deans, retired professors, sports equipment and documents since the establishment of the college. Then he was briefed on reality of the work performed by the members of the Educational Guidance Unit, including its in-kind assistance to the female residents at Al-Waziriya Student Housing Complex.
