The experienced Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Ezz Al-Din Al-Araji from the Department of History at the College of Education for Women, has recently authored the book entitled: (Imam Muhammad Al-Baqir (PBUH) and his Theological Opinions on Monotheism). The book deals with the efforts exerted by and the opinions of Imam Muhammad Al-Baqir (peace be upon him) in matters of defending the doctrine of the oneness of God with mental evidence and who is one of the people of the house of prophecy and the pure family (Ahl al-Bayt), whose father is Imam Ali bin Al-Hussein (peace be upon him), nicknamed as Al-Sajjad, the author of the Al-Sajjadiya Newspaper specialized in divine oneness, and his son is Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) who commissioned senior speakers and those close to him to debate the violators with mental evidence and victory over them in the Abbasid era.

Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Araji based during this work on the hadiths of Imam al-Baqir (PBUH) on monotheism, books of interpretation and translations, as well as books dealt with philosophy and Islamic theology. He found that the evidence provided by Imam al-Baqir regarding monotheism has preceded many of opinions and perceptions of other Islamic philosophers or theologians and even the major contemporary Western thinkers. The book included five chapters that shed light on the biography of Imam Muhammad Al-Baqir (peace be upon him), theology, the attributes of God, the divine dispensation, and finally the subject of time and place and its relationship to the divine power.
