The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad has organized a major ceremony in celebration of the graduation of its sixty-fifth session of the academic year (2021-2022), held under the slogan (By Science, Homelands are Built), in the presence of the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi and a number of scientific and academic figures.
The ceremony began with reading some verses of the Holy Quran and the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of our righteous martyrs, then the rector delivered a speech in which he congratulated the students for their success and praised the great efforts exerted by the faculty members and the graduates in the service of their country, indicating the importance of keeping pace with the great developments that occur in the world at the level of science and knowledge, pointing out that such scientific shifts in various fields of knowledge we witness across the world present great challenges, so it is necessary to double our efforts and initiatives to keep pace with global development. Also Dr. Munir al-Saadi urged the need to upgrade curriculum to provide the best academic environment in harmony with what is taught in international universities through coornination and twinning with research centers. After the conclusion of this event, the graduate students recited the medical oath with the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq al-Hashemi, who offered his congratulation and blessings to the graduates and their families.
