The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad has recently participated through a group of its professors and students in the 19th Brothers Meeting Festival for Hobbies and Crafts, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities at the building of the International Station of the Iraqi Railways.
The events included several activities such as exhibitions, speeches, poems, musical instruments, Arabic Folk dances, performances and drawings of various folklore and heritage exhibits. It is noteworthy that the festival is the widest and most beautiful cultural, artistic, heritage and tourism event, aimed at building bridges of communication between amateurs from Baghdad and the rest of the provinces of Iraq or Arab countries. The festival included also particpations of artists from Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and several Iraqi universities.
