Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim al-Qazzaz, the dean of the college of science at the University of Baghdad, has discussed ways of scientific cooperation in order to enhance the educational process, qualifying students and employing them with the Vice President of the Board of Directors and a member of the Board of Trustees at the Gulf College in the Sultanate of Oman, accompanied by the representative of the college and its advisor in Iraq, Mr. Muhammad al-Zubaidi.
During the meeting, the lecturers spoke about the history of the college of science, its scientific departments, research units, curricula, the nature of study in for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, and the laboratories and pure scientific disciplines that meet the needs of the labor market and the numbers of the graduates annually as well as its relentless pursuit to provide job opportunities for all of them. The two parties also discussed ways of scientific cooperation in the field of job empowerment of students by preparing special training courses for qualification, employment and marketing for the labor market, as well as the possibility of agreeing to exchange experiences and enhance cooperation at all research, academic and scientific levels in order to achieve joint cooperation and how to upgrade knowledge and various skills of students.
