Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, the rector of the University of Baghdad, has visited the Postgraduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies to inspect the workflow there and was received by the dean of the institute, Prof. Dr. Faiha Abdullah Yaqoub. The rector was briefed on the rehabilitation of an additional building as well as a number of the institute’s achievements and inspected its corridors, visiting the Scientific Journal Unit that is following-up the publication of (100) academic researches, including studies authored by scholars from Arab countries, Turkey and Iran. Dr. Munir al-Saadi indicated his keenness the entry of the institute’s journal in the Scopus database that may have a great impact on raising the reputation of the institute in particular and that of the University of Baghdad in international rankings, stressing the need for cooperation with some sober educational institutions in this regard.
