The Department of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems, in cooperation with the Educational Guidance Unit, has organized a lecture entitled “The Role of Educational Counseling Programs in Achieving Intellectual Security among University Students” in the presence of a number of students of scientific departments in the college.

The lecture aimed to introduce intellectual security, which is one of the important, vital and influential topics in the lives of peoples and their future as a whole, as it is a basic and contemporary issue and it is inevitable to pay attention to it in light of the data of the conditions in which countries live and the tensions that lead to the emergence of the phenomenon of intellectual deviation. The lecture was presented by Assist. Prof. Dr. Bushra Ali Ahmed who talked about achieving intellectual security as the real outlet to creativity, progress and growth of the civilization and culture of society, noting that its truth is in the protection of society in general and the youth in particular and their prevention, which may affect them from extraneous and destructive ideas teeming with many satellite channels and networks.
