Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, the rector of the University of Baghdad has recently visited the Natural History Center and Museum in Bab Al-Moatham and was received by the director of the center, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hanaa Hani al-Saffar, heads of departments and professors of the center, also he made a tour to the corridors of laboratories and kept abreast with the most important developments carried out by the scientific team there in coordination with the scientific and administrative departments, as well as follow-up the collections presented in the exhibition hall. Then Dr. Munir al-Saadi met a number of with primary, intermediate and secondary school students who were visiting the museum and stressing the university’s keenness to support the educational process, continuing cooperation with academic institutions and praising the great role played by the natural history center and museum in hosting scientific visits and school trips throughout the academic year.
