Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, the rector of the University of Baghdad has recently presided over the 7th session of the university’s council to discuss a number of scientific and administrative matters. The members of the council discussed topics related to publication of scientific research in international repositories and the completion of the research plan for faculty members for the current academic year with an emphasis on publishing studies in the University of Baghdad’s journals so as to raise the university academic ranking globally and increase the number of citations, directing then to hold more than one conference a year in coordination with international scientific institutions.
