The Department of Arabic Language of the College of Education for Women has organized a scientific lecture delivered by the Assist. Prof. Dr. Karim Obaid Alawi from the College of Education for Humanities (Ibn Rushd) entitled (The identity of the literary text and the question of the curriculum) which was attended by a group of professors of the department as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The lecture aimed to explain the history of the concept of identity in general and the identity of the literary text in particular, the history of the development of the identity of literary texts, and its relationship to the approach used in the study and analysis of texts, and the impact of all this in supporting the values of tolerance between cultures and openness to what is different in an era where these values are urgently needed.
