The Fundamentals of Nursing Branch at the College of Nursing of the University of Baghdad has organized a health awareness campaign for the students of Zarqa Al-Yamamah School aimed to educate students about the harms of smoking and its harm to human health and diseases caused by.
The health awareness campaign included encouraging students to avoid smoking and spreading health culture among students and their families about the harms of smoking on the health of the body and avoiding all types of smoking. During the campaign, printed awareness leaflets were distributed to students explaining the impact of cigarettes on human health, including heart and arterial diseases, respiratory and digestive diseases, oral and dental health and their impact on the rest of the body. At the end of the visit, the school administration and the students of the school expressed their thanks and gratitude to the professors of the University of Baghdad for their illustrations about the harms of smoking on the public health.
