The lecturer Dr. Alaa Abdul Reda Abdul Sahib from the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Women, has participated in the twelfth International Conference for the Humanities, held at the College of Education for Humanities, Wasit University, under the slogan (Humanities Renewal and Creativity), with a research paper entitled: (Narrative structure in Tamim al-Barghouti’s poetry), with the participation of 60 researches.

This research dealt with a prelude to clarify the term “narrative” in the language and terminology and its relation to poetry, along the mechanism of anticipation and retrieval in time and place while the last section included internal and external dialogue accompanied by a lot of poetic examples of the works of Tamim al-Barghouti summarized in two collections: (In Jerusalem) and (Maqam al-Iraq) written in Standard Arabic. Dr. Alaa Abdul Reda was awarded with a certificate of participation and a letter of thanks and appreciation from the college handed over by the rector of Wasit University, Prof. Dr. Mazen al-Hassani, in appreciation of her fruitful scientific efforts in the conference.
