The assistant rector for administrative affairs at the University of Baghdad and the dean of the Urban and Regional Planning Center for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Karim Hassan Alwan, has opened up the First Design Exhibition organized by the Technical Activities Division at the Student Activities Department in the presence of a group of military leaders of the Ministry of Defense.
The exhibition witnessed displaying aesthetic various design works that reflected the hidden artistic talents of university students. Dr. Karim Hassan praised the artistic productions that embodied the design imagination in the students of all university formations, stressing the aesthetic outputs of the art of graphic design and the students’ unique talents in embodying them on paper in shape and color. It is noteworthy that there is a committee to evaluate the results of each formation of the university from various artistic and sports activities for college students, where the appraisal was made upon an annual basis.
