The Planning Advisory Office at the Urban and Regional Planning Center for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad has initiated recently the process of managing a project to design the river front of the right coast in the city of Mosul at the beginning of this December.
Dr. Falah al-Musawi, a lecturer at the center and director of the planning advisory office, pointed out that this project is one of the important projects in conducted in Mosul with the aim to restore life to the old heritage of this city through focusing on the design of a Corniche and the park at the foot of the river, in addition to designing approximately 300 Mosul heritage houses to complete the river façade overlooking the Tigris River within the city. It is noteworthy that the deadline for the completion of the consultancy work will last up to 6 months, during which the engineering consulting team will carry out surveys, land sorting and determining land ownership according to the project requirements mentioned above.
