The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, Media and Public Relations Units at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad, under the auspices of its dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abdul Malih, and in cooperation and coordination with a delegation from the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Rusafa, Baghdad, has lately organized a qualitative lecture delivered by the human development trainer, Mr. Mustafa Muhammad Hammoudi, and his assistant Athraa Karim, the work coordinators, Maryam Tariq and Milad Fadel, for the students of the undergraduate studies entitled (Self-Management and Skills Development).

The trainer Mustafa Mohamed, indicating during his speech the concept of self-management, which is the ability of the individual to direct his feelings, thoughts and capabilities towards the goals that he aims to achieve, knowing that their achievement is done through the full interaction between the four most important faculties that a person possesses, namely the mind, heart, will and conscience. He also explained the most important self-management skills that lead to the development of skills, including goal setting, strategic planning, prioritization, self-awareness, emotional organization, adaptability, self-care, noting at the same time the most important features of the owner of self-management, which is the ability to self-control, trustworthy, awareness, conditioning and initiatives.
