The dean of the Urban and Regional Planning Center for Postgraduate Studies and the assistant rector for administrative affairs at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, has recently inspected the university’s water project and followed up the work of the pumps and the stages of filtering, ending with purifying and distributing fresh water to various university formations.

In the same context, Dr. Karim Alwan, accompanied by the director of the Diwan Affairs Department, Dr. Abbas Fadel, made a tour to the university’s plant nurseries and instructed to distribute seedlings to colleges and pay attention to the agricultural reality of the university, in addition to developing their work, praising the efforts made by the Agricultural Division in supervising the organization of green spaces, courtyards, university entrances and formations. It is noteworthy that the presidency of the University of Baghdad has developed a number of plans to develop its infrastructure, starting with the rehabilitation of the Student Housing Complexes and a number OF laboratories, as well as conducting a number of afforestation and agriculture campaigns adopted and sponsored by the Urban and Regional Planning Center for Postgraduate Studies.
