The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Baghdad has announced the start of an online archiving course with the aim to introduce faculty members and employees to the electronic archiving system that is a computer-powered system used to transform from the traditional archiving patterns to electronic archiving, emphasizing its consequences on work in terms of time, effort and quality.

The lecturers discussed the various aspects of this process through clarifying its basics, dimensions, benefits, requirements, and strategies. The concept and types of electronic archiving work were also addressed, especially for the sake of converting personal documents and records into an electronic card that can be saved permanently and being unable to be scanned or edited unless under the control of the higher official of each university’s formation.
