The Student and Sports Activities Unit at Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad hosted the University Chess Championship for students under the supervision of the Iraqi Chess Federation. The competition included five rounds, with the participation of the student Al-Mujtaba Manaf from the Department of Mechatronics Engineering who won the third place while the student Mina Alaa won the fourth place from the Department of Biomedical Engineering in this championship. At the end of the university championship, cups were distributed to the winners by the director of the Student Activities Department at the university’s presidency, Assist. Prof. Dr. Qais Qahtan Dawood.
