A lecture on the overlap of disciplines in literary and linguistic studies

The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education for Women, held a scientific lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Karim al-Kawaz on (Overlapping Specializations in Literary and Linguistic Studies), in the presence of a group of professors of the department as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students. The lecture aimed to show the need for the scientific method to be consistent with the nature of the studied phenomenon and the need to pay attention to the dimensions of the linguistic, cultural and social phenomenon in its study. The lecturer reached at a set of recommendations for future work since this topic deserves to be studies by the Iraqi researchers at length.
