The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad, under direct supervision of the dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, has organized a training course on the volleyball and futsal games, in cooperation and coordination with the General Directorate of Physical Education and School Activity, for the teachers of physical education for the First Rusafa schools, which lasted for a week in the classrooms at the Theoretical Sciences Branch.

The lecture on futsal game was delivered by lecturers Sabah Ahmed and Masoud Salman, who at first talked about the objectives and importance of this football-based game played on a hard court smaller than a football pitch, mainly indoors with a brief history of the game, its stages of development, training terms related to, how to choose players of appropriate basic skills. Then the lecturers Jassim Safi and Ali Saadoun and Hossam Ahmed gave an overview about the volleyball course, showing how to plan the stadium and the legal boundaries, the height of the net for men and women, training and learning handling methods from top to bottom as being one of the basic skills adopted inside the stadium. After the end of the two courses, a theoretical and practical exam was conducted for all participants in this event.
