Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Latif Karim, a lecturer from the Department of Physics at the College of Science, has recently received four certificates of appreciation for being selected as a scientific reviewer of four research papers published in international journals in nuclear and general physics listed within Q1 Scopus and Clarivate Analytics journals.
These researches were published in the following journals: The Journal of Physics G: Nuclear and Particle Physics, specialized in nuclear and particle physics including theoretical and experimental studies and areas of interaction between these fields. Also Physica Scripta that is an international scientific journal for experimental and theoretical physics. It is noteworthy that the Scimago Institutions Rankings are classifying the journals of the Scopus container according to their impact factors, the highest 25% of these periodicals were counted from the Q1 category while the next 25% comes in the Q2 category and then the lowest 25% in terms of the impact factor are listed within the Q4 category.
