The assistant dean for student affairs at the college of education for women, Assist. Prof. Dr. Maysam Yassin Obaid, has participated in a special program of the “Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign” held in the presence of the and the head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the college, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nahla Aboudi al-Salhi. The workshop aimed to introduce the attendees to the risks of breast cancer and the importance of early detection of this disease. The program included several topics, including a review of the development of disease conditions and early symptoms of breast cancer, with a slideshow of pictures showing the symptoms of breast cancer and a film documenting cases of the disease among influential female celebrities.
