The Cultural Committee of the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts has organized a lecture entitled (Al-Makhzoumi and his role in leading the modern grammar lesson in Iraq) that was delivered by the lecturer Prof. Dr. Tariq al-Janabi, in the presence of a number of senior professors and prominent scholars of grammar and linguists. The lecture aimed to identify the importance of this Iraqi figure on studying the issues of Arabic grammar in Iraq that need great attention by scholar, as well as the need to respect successive generations of senior scholars for their professors and continue their approach in facilitating the learning and teaching methods of the Arabic grammar for all students at different levels of study, and that need to be coordinated with the official authorities at the educational institutions and the need to update curricula.
