The Department of Mathematics, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, has organized a lecture entitled “Women are Exemplary Leaders during Covid-19” in the presence of a number of students, professors and those interested in this topic. The lecture aimed to shed light on the circumstances encountered by people to the Corona pandemic that hit the world in early 2020 and the huge effects witnessed on various aspects and ways of life as well as the effects of this period on public and private organizations and institutions with a reference to the role of women in confronting the pandemic and react to its health, societal and life repercussions.

The lecture was presented by Assist. Prof. Dr. Dalia Khaled and Assist. Prof. Dr. Hiba Abdullah Ibrahim, including a review of the role of women who played important roles in the family when going through any health crisis, as happened after the outbreak of the Corona virus pandemic, indicating that women are often the first to pay attention to the problem through the initial decisions they make regarding response and treatment, noting that women bore a great burden from the repercussions of the outbreak of this disease such as caring for children and the elderly, through cooperation with workers and caregivers who are involved in the global economic recovery.
