The Assistant Lecturer Shahad Haitham, a faculty member from the Individual Games Branch at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women, held a workshop for the doctoral students entitled (The Role of Technology in Physical Education). She at first talked about the possibility of artificial intelligence in the sports field in terms of capturing images and videos at an angle of (360) degrees, which helps in providing opportunities to record sports events comprehensively by relying on the machine learning technology that characterizes artificial intelligence technology so to be able to obtain the results of the sports event at the same moment. She also explained the most important areas of artificial intelligence in the sports field, including improving the level of players, building sports training programs, as well as discovering sports talents.
