The Department of Astronomy and Space, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, has organized a training course entitled “MATLAB Programming for Beginners” in the presence of a number of students, researchers and those concerned with the computer science.

The course aimed to introduce the writing of the many basic programs in the calculation of differential, integrative and statistical equations, in addition to introducing the basis of the MATLAB programming language, which qualifies participants to enter into advanced applications of this software. The course was presented by Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdul Razzaq Salman, who talked about the definition of this programming language for beginners, indicating its enormous tools and great potential that facilitates many of the programming needs of all branches of natural sciences.
