The Department of Physics at the College of Science at the University of Baghdad, has witnessed the discussion of a master’s thesis on the “Preparation of a thin cheat from SnO2: Ga2O3, CeO2 for photovoltaic applications” submitted by the student Maab Abdul Salam Aboud under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bushra Abbas.
The study aimed to study the physical properties (whether being optical, electrical or synthetic) of tin oxide inlaid with Calcium Oxide (CaO) and Cerium(IV) Oxide in different concentrations and prepare thin films using the method of Pulsed Laser Deposition in order to manufacture solar cells from tin oxide inlaid with calcium oxide and cerium oxide in different concentrations and obtain the adequacy of conversion (2.8%) of the tin oxide inlaid with Calcium Oxide at a concentration of 5%.
