The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Islamic Sciences has organized a symposium entitled (Curriculum Discourse in Language Sciences) which was delivered by the Iraqi researcher residing in Australia Saeed al-Ghanmi, in the presence of the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Neimah Dahash Farhan, his assistants and a large number of professors at the college.
He at first addressed the system that governs language, which is one of the foundations that brought linguistic research at its multiple levels closer to applied sciences and made it more stable, referring to the use of linguistics in other sciences such as psychology, sociology and others, which influenced the curricula followed in its study and the need for the renewal of the curriculum and linguistic research vision to achieve a valuable quality in contemporary methodological discourse.
