Dr. Uday Jamil Shihab, head of the Student Activities Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences, has announced that the college received the silver medal during the University of Baghdad Squash Championship, which was organized in Jadriyah by the Department of Student Activities, in cooperation with the deanship of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences as well as the Iraqi Central Squash Federation.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Neimah Dahash Farhan, the dean of the college praised the effort exerted by the Student Activities Unit, and its members in obtaining an advanced position in this championship, stressing the interest of the college in sports aspect and encouraging students permanently and continuously and contributing to the building of the nation. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Abdul Rasool Kudhairi, trainer at the Student Activities Unit has won the medal after competing with a player from Al-Kindy College of Medicine.
