The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Baghdad held a scientific workshop entitled: “Green Human Resources Management (GHRM)”. The workshop aimed to introduce the management of green human resources and its vital role in the processing and training of employees, as the first research paper dealt with this term that can be defined as a set of policies, practices, and systems that stimulate the green behavior of a company’s employees in order to create an environmentally sensitive, resource-efficient, and socially responsible organization.  The workshop reached at a set of proposals, stressing the need to promote the inclusion of green aspects in job description of activities in environmentally friendly institutions, sustainable development and renewable energy, which practice green management in all its aspects through modern computer programs and information technology.
