The Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad has organized a panel discussion entitled (The relationship of the science of tricks with mechanical engineering) delivered by Prof. Dr. Riad Saeed Latif who talked about the basics of scientific machines that also called tricks or spiritual machines and what is called today mechanical engineering that is related to every science concerned with the study of static or dynamic objects.
The lecturer then talked about heritage, especially the history of science among the Arabs, in terms of theoretical and practical knowledge and stating that the Western orientalists had discovered the secrets of the sciences of the Arabs later and uncovered many secrets of mechanics and mechanical designs.
