Dr. Zaman Majid Odeh, a faculty member from the College of Political Science at the University of Baghdad has participated in the scientific workshop organized by the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the University of Baghdad entitled (The efforts exerted by the coordinators with the women’s empowerment unit at the presidency of the University of Baghdad: obstacles and solutions).
During her participation in the workshop, Dr. Zaman Majid stressed the possibility of cooperation with other formations of the University of Baghdad to provide them with specialized researchers and to hold seminars and scientific workshops addressing women’s affairs, explaining that the term of the empowerment of women refers to increasing the ability of women to make strategic choices and establishing a culture of equality in all dimensions, whether through education or achieving sustainable development.
