The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Education for Women has established workshop in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit entitled “Training guidance methods for the members of the subcommittees” attended by the members of sub-committees and a number of professors.
The workshop aimed to introduce psychological counseling techniques and modern theories of psychological counseling in order to use them in the guidance of undergraduate students. The workshop included several topics, including the detailed identification of the method of direct and indirect counseling with students and about the cognitive method according to the theory of Albert Alice in rational emotional counseling, as well as the practical method of counseling through the use of projective tests, questionnaires, case study and guidance interview.
