Workshop on the role of modern historians in indexing at the center for heritage revival

The Department of Manuscripts at the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage has organized a workshop entitled (Modern Historians and their Role in Cataloguing and Indexing of Manuscripts) to shed light of the role played by Prof. Osama al-Naqshbandi and Dr. Damia al-Samarrai in the cataloguing of manuscripts as well as the Father Boutros Haddad in the indexing of Syriac manuscripts in Iraq. The lecturers also referred to the efforts of the Iraqi historian and investigator Dr. Imad Abdul Salam Raouf, Korkis Awwad in this regard as well as the biography of Prof. Dr. Mohy Hilal al-Sarhan, Fuat Sezgin in the preservation of Arab manuscripts across the ages.
