The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad has organized a training course entitled (CBCT and Virtual Planning for Implant) delivered by the Lecturer Dr. Ali Abdul Razzaq Mohammed and the Lecturer Dr. Ghazwan Adnan Aboud, in the presence of the assistant dean for administrative affairs and the head of the Artificial Prosthetics Branch and a number of professors.

The aim of the course is to shed light on the techniques of Cone Beam Computed Tomography used to diagnose implant cases and how to locate them inside the patient’s mouth digitally before performing a dental implant. The session reached at several recommendations, stressing the importance and necessity of using the Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) rays and the virtual planning program before performing any dental implant operation to avoid problems during the operation and reduce the time of the operation.
