Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division at the College of Education for Women, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit has sponsored a workshop entitled “Skills of the Effective University Professor” that was administrated by the Assist. Prof. Dr. Sajlaa Faiq Hashim and Assist. Prof. Dr. Zahraa Zaid Shafik in the presence of a number of profssors, staff and students.
The workshop aimed to identify the teaching skills and their application by the teacher that is a necessary factor to build a sound educational edifice that connects theory and practice, namely: planning, implementation, and evaluation, so this process is the first skill that must be mastered by the teacher who seeks excellence in his/her teaching process, which is the planning of the teaching process, adding that this process is carried out by the teacher alone through the administration of assignments inside the classroom.
