The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad has lately organized a workshop entitled (Analysis of the content of examination questions) in the presence of faculty members of the Pediatric Nursing Branch. The workshop aimed to review the exam questions prepared for the quarterly and monthly tests, where it included three aspects: the difficulty of questions, their distinction, item discrimination and reliability.

The lecturers shed light on how to formulate exam questions in a scientific and simple way, measuring the goal of each question with the inclusion of the appropriate time to answer, avoiding questions prepared from external sources, using the set of three hierarchical models used for classification of educational learning objectives into levels of complexity and specificity as specified in Bloom’s Taxonomy as well as using Excel & SPSS programs to indicate the validity of tests in the measurement of learning goals.
