The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad has organized a workshop entitled (Hemorrhagic Fever) via the Google Meet service, in the presence of a number of professors and students of undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The workshop aimed to identify hemorrhagic fever symptoms and clinical signs of the disease, including the causes and methods of transmission of infection and the most important laboratory methods of diagnosis of this disease and the ways of prevention and control of such a virus.
The participants called for the use of prevention methods and discussed how to reduce the risk of transmission of infection from animal to human so as to reduce the risk of human-to-human or animal-to-human transmission of the Viral Hemorrhagic Fever. They stressed on the importance of wearing gloves and other protective equipment when caring for patients infected with the virus, keep on washing hands in implementation of the standard precautions to fight infection.
