The dean of the College of Science at the University of Baghdad has recently signed a memorandum of scientific cooperation with the College of Biotechnologies at Al-Qasim Green University in Babylon so as to enhance the educational process within the framework of the prospects of scientific and academic cooperation between the two sides. The dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Abdul Razzaq, met with the delegation headed by the dean of the College of Biotechnologies, Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim, the head of the Department of Medical Biotechnologies, Assist. Prof. Dr. Abbas Abdul Sharhan, the Rapporteur of Postgraduate Studies, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nazim Mushtaq, and the Chairman of the Graduate Studies Committee at the College, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Taleb al-Tamimi, during which they agreed to exchange experiences and enhance cooperation at all research and scientific levels.

The meeting, which was attended by the dean assistants for scientific and administrative affairs, included a joint readiness to implement the terms of the memorandum of scientific cooperation, which includes the study of students and supervision in graduate studies, as well as many other joint research and educational programs, especially cooperation in supporting sober scientific research and publishing it in the journals of the college of science, and various academic and research fields, in order to achieve the common interest. It is worth mentioning that the college seeks to deepen its network of academic relations with various universities, embodying the vision of the University of Baghdad in enhancing its presence on the local and international academic arena, which reflects positively on its scientific and research career, achieves the interest of its students and enhances their various knowledge and skills.
