The department of student activities receives a number of orphan children

The Department of Student Activities of the presidency of the University of Baghdad has received a number of orphans in cooperation with the Volunteer Team of Purity for the Preservation of Antiquities and Heritage. The members of the Painting, Ceramics and Music Units have welcomed the guests who tried to draw paintings on paper of a selection of cartoon characters under the supervision of the head of the Technical Division, Dr. Dina Mohammed Inad. The children of the orphan house also visited the music unit and met its director Rana Jassim who presented a set of special lyrical pieces for the children in order to bring joy and positive impression to their hearts. Then the children visited the stables and equestrian unit where the trainer Mr. Ali Hassan trained them on how to ride Arabian horsesand at the end of the visit, gifts were distributed to the children by the head of department, the lecturer Dr. Qais Qahtan Dawood, on behalf of the assistant rector for administrative affairs.
