Prof. Dr. Ali Aziz Ali, a lecturer at the Clinical Pharmacy Branch, has received the Best Poster Award for joint research conducted by team consisted of scholars from 14 countries from Asia and the Middle East sponsored by the FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences during its 80th session and that was held in Spain (September, 18 – 21).

The researchers have submitted a joint research paper in which they conducted an assessment of the mental health of university students at the faculties of pharmacy based on the following variables: the role of gender, lifestyle, other health and academic factors. They also found that a regular exercise routine, a full vaccination status, high academic performance, initial interest in studying pharmacy, and not meeting the challenges of online learning, are associated with higher levels of student ability to persevere during hard times and are proposed to be a core trait of academic achievement. It is noteworthy that this research is expected to be published in a sober international journal.
