Assist. Prof. Khaleda Hamed Tskam, a faculty member from the department of English language at the college of education for women has been awarded recently with the Shield of Wisdom for the Distinguished Translator during a major celebration entitled “The shield of the Sheikh of translators Kazem Saadeddine for the distinguished translator” sponsored by the Department of Language Studies and Translation at the House of Wisdom for her outstanding effort in translating the book entitled “Disinformation of the Islamic State”. It is noteworthy that Prof. Khaleda Hamed has beed previously won the Iraqi Cultural Creativity Award dedicated by the Ministry of Culture, and during the ceremony to celebrate the creative efforts of translators, which have become a bridge between nations.
