The Quality Assurance Division, in cooperation with the Education Unit at the College of Science and the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the university’s presidency, has organized a workshop entitled “Performance Evaluation Mechanism for the Academic Year 2021-2022” in the presence of the dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim al-Qazzaz, his assistant for administrative affairs and the members of the Performance Evaluation Committees.
The lectures were presented by Prof. Dr. Siham Kazim Nimr, the director of the University Performance Evaluation Division, Assist. Prof. Dr. Luma Hassan Alwan, Laboratory Accreditation Division, and Assist. lecturer Omar Fayez Hussein, the director of the Quality Assurance Division, with the aim to identify the requirements of documentation and evaluation mechanism in the light of the last evaluation form approved by the university in accordance with the instructions set by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Affairs so as to upgrade the level of educational and research institutions and the educational quality of the college at the global level. The professors talked about how to describe the activities of faculty members via the online form, namely any research papers published globally and the need to identify predatory journals listed in international repositories, how to refer to authored books, membership of committees, assignment of units and others.
