The University of Baghdad has recently received a certificate of excellence from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the occasion of obtaining a competitive position (1501+) in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 in its latest version, where this award was handed over to the rector Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi by the director of the Department of Relations and Media at the ministry of higher education, Dr. Haider al-Abboudi. It is noteworthy that the ministry praised this achievement in terms of international academic reputation, faculty members, the number of citations of published scientific research and their impact on the overall status of the university’ faculties and professors in the fields of knowledge and community service.
