Seminar on the concept of veterinary medicine at the center for revival of heritage

The Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad, has organized a seminar entitled “The concept of veterinary medicine in the writings of the Arab-Islamic scientific heritage” delivered by Dr. Fatima Zabar, in the presence of a number of professors and researchers. She at first talked about the goal or basis on which veterinary science is based, especially in the case of horses that have participated greatly in jihad (that is an Arabic word which literally means struggling, especially with a praiseworthy aim). The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had many times praised horses and many books have been written in this topic.
