Two students from Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad, (Zainab Khalid Jawad and Farah Samir), have recently succeeded in producing environmentally friendly biofuels from the waste animal fats. The production of this fuel is considered as environmentally friendly since it is extracted from materials that cause environmental damage, and the gas emitted from the fuel production process is the carbon dioxide that plants benefit from in the photosynthesis process, and therefore the production of fuel does not cause any damage to the environment, where its cost is very low since the chicken fat is used in this case and it is a harmful substance not used for any other purposes.
