Rector of the University of Baghdad receives the Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee

Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, the rector of the University of Baghdad, has received recently the Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Prof. Dr. Muzahim al-Khayyat. The two sides discussed the achievements of the university in many areas, including scientific research, undergraduate and postgraduate studies, the quality of higher education, as well as the challenges facing the university, including the lack of allocations supporting the programs of studies and scientific research. Dr. Muzahim al-Khayyat also explained the need to communicate with the university by providing the necessary funding in supporting and developing multiple programs in Iraqi universities as well as developing infrastructure and the quality of laboratories and classrooms, stressing the need for formulating future plans towards contributing to solving problems in order to raise the level of education in general.
